AU meeting with representatives of medical schools

The Accreditation Unit (AU) of the SLMC met with deans and faculty representatives of medical schools in Sri Lanka in view of discussing plans and procedures for upcoming accreditation of their schools. The workshop took place on 14th November 2021 at the Academic Centre of the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine and more than 30 medical school representatives took part in the workshop. The discuss was intended to provide all medical schools with a clear understanding about the accreditation process and clarify any questions that may arise in going through this process. The workshop also enabled faculty representatives to discuss specific challenges in their own setting and share ideas with the AU on matters pertaining to accreditation.
