AU team visits Faculty of Medical Sciences Sri Jayewardenepura

A reviewer team from the Accreditation Unit (AU) of the SLMC conducted a site visit of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura from 22nd to 24th March 2022 as part of the accreditation process. The team was led by Prof. Gominda Ponnamperuma from Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. Other members of the team included Prof. Rasanayake Mudiyanse (Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya), Prof. Chrishantha Abeysena (Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya), Prof. S. Sivaganesh (Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo), and Prof. C.A. Gnanathasan (Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo). The AU reviewer team was able to meet with the faculty members and observe first hand how the teaching and learning activities are conducted at the faculty as well as the facilities available for the students. The team is expected to complete the review report based on the information gathered and hand it over to the AU and the respective faculty.
