SLMC Accreditation Unit Members to Attend the WFME World Conference 2025 in Bangkok

Members of the Accreditation Unit (AU) of the Sri Lanka Medical Council are set to participate in the prestigious WFME World Conference 2025, co-hosted by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) and the Institute for Medical Education Accreditation (IMEAc). The conference will take place from May 25–28, 2025, at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre, Thailand.

Under the theme “Towards Health for All – Through Quality Medical Education,” the event serves as a global platform for medical education leaders, regulators, and accreditors to share knowledge and inspire positive change. The program features plenary sessions, workshops, and symposia focused on advancing the standards of medical training worldwide.

The participation of the AU members underscores the SLMC’s commitment to aligning Sri Lanka’s medical accreditation framework with the latest global excellence standards promoted by WFME.
